If you are dealing with the everyday reality of a personality disorders it often feels as though there is no way out. Often feelings of shame, resentment and isolation build up. These can lead to even greater difficulties for you and those around you.
With the help of counselling and psychotherapy many individuals find that they can change the way that they think and behave. By addressing rigid thoughts and attitudes and the way that relationships are managed it can lead to a far more fulfilling life.
I will work with you to gain an understanding of the potential stress triggers and work with you to examine the unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I will help you to work through painful or confusing emotions and experiences. From there we will work together to develop personal coping strategies and ways to reduce the accompanying symptoms of depression, anxiety and low self-confidence. I will also help you to develop strategies to improve relationships, your communication skills and ability to express yourself in more positive ways.
